Hey Dude,

Really an interesting article, and I don't think you've lost the plot either. The trouble for me is the iPad was everything I didn't want it to be. I wanted it to be a pro graphics tablet for design, and a laptop replacement - instead it's targeted at the consumer ebook market which obviously apple see is bigger bucks. The trouble is they might be a bit wrong, cause I'm not sure they can pry the amazon kindle out of peoples fingers.

As for control, yes governments want to control, tax and sensor the internet due to the fact that no one is able to think for themselves anymore, we need government laws and censorship to tell us what is right and wrong... but the same goes for people like apple telling us how we should browse the net, and dictate how we do things by needing the right apps which we also probably need to pay for in turn.

Have something people want, the internet, have something they need to use it, a platform, control the platform with apps and results are power and money, man's best friend.

My fear is, before people wake up, it'll be too late...

I will never be buying an iPad. I think it will sell 'ok' but it's never going to be the flagship of Apple.

I don't think Flash is going anywhere, it's here to stay and the iPad will get flash i reckon
